Geëmailleerd glas is gehard glas met een ingebrande, ondoorzichtige RAL-kleur aan de achterzijde — een strakke, kleurvaste en krasbestendige wandafwerking. Kies je basis (blank of extra helder) + een RAL-kleur.

Good to know
- •Geëmailleerd gehard glas is een ondoorzichtige glassoort. Wanneer het zonder een egale, donkere achtergrond wordt toegepast, kunnen er door de lichtdoorlatendheid kleurvariaties zichtbaar zijn, zoals strepen of wolken. Dit is een normaal verschijnsel en vormt geen grond voor reclamatie.
- •Indien de randen van het glas na plaatsing zichtbaar blijven, adviseren wij om deze — uit esthetisch oogpunt — minimaal fijn-mat te laten slijpen.
- •De dikte van het glas kan invloed hebben op de uiteindelijke kleurtint van het product. Voor een egale kleurweergave binnen één project raden wij aan om overal dezelfde glasdikte toe te passen.
- •Kleurnuances kunnen optreden tussen verschillende productieruns. Om kleurverschillen te vermijden, adviseren wij het volledige project in één productie te laten uitvoeren.
- •Een kleurverschil tussen twee panelen in dezelfde emaillering wordt als toelaatbaar beschouwd wanneer dit binnen ∆E* = 1,5 ligt, gemeten op het glasoppervlak volgens de C.I.E. Lab*-methode.

What is Lacobel and Matelac?▾
Lacobel is glass with a colored lacquer layer on the back - a sleek, glossy colored panel. Matelac is the satin (matte) variant. Both are popular as a kitchen backsplash, furniture or wall panel.
Can I choose any RAL color?▾
Enameled and tempered lacquered glass are available in almost any RAL, NCS or Pantone color. Lacobel and Matelac have a fixed color map. Please ask for advice about availability for a specific color.
Is colored glass suitable as a kitchen back wall?▾
Yes. Tempered lacquered and enamelled glass are heat-resistant and easy to clean — ideal behind a hob. Lacquered glass is only for indoor use.
Can I order custom colored glass with cutouts?▾
Yes, you set the sizes, drillings (e.g. for sockets) and the edge finish in the configurator and immediately see the price.
