Wat is triple glas (HR+++)?

Triple glas heeft drie ruiten met twee met argon gevulde spouwen en twee low-e coatings. Daardoor isoleert het nog beter dan HR++ dubbelglas — de laagste U-waarde, ideaal voor energiezuinige woningen.

Is triple glas altijd beter dan dubbelglas?

Qua isolatie wel, maar triple is dikker en zwaarder — je kozijn en beslag moeten er geschikt voor zijn. Voor bestaande kozijnen is HR++ vaak de praktische keuze; bij nieuwbouw en renovatie met goede kozijnen loont triple.

Welke spouwbreedte kan ik het beste kiezen?

Een bredere spouw isoleert beter tot ± 16 mm per spouw; daarna neemt de winst weer licht af door luchtstroming. Voor triple kiezen we per spouw dezelfde breedte.

Is triple glas op maat retourneerbaar?

Nee, triple glas wordt op jouw exacte maat gemaakt en is maatwerk — daarom van herroeping uitgesloten. We maken het op de millimeter op maat en leveren verzekerd.

Warm Edge TGI or silicone sealant — which should I choose?

Warm Edge TGI (black): The TGI® Spacer is a thermally broken spacer that reduces heat loss at the edge of the insulating glass and improves the insulation value of the whole window (glass + frame). Less of a cold bridge along the edge also means less risk of condensation in the edge zone.

UV-resistant silicone sealant (black): Silicone edge sealant (UV-resistant) is a special black sealant edge that withstands ultraviolet light. Needed for panes whose edge is exposed to sun and moisture — skylights, garden rooms, boat windows — and for any pane that is not covered all round by beads or profiles. If the pane sits behind glazing beads all round, it adds nothing.
